About these terms

Potrero is a browser-based soccer-tennis game operated by Ceibo. These Terms govern access to the website, accounts, private lobbies, matches, and related beta services.

By creating an account or continuing to use the online game, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use online play.

Eligibility

The beta is intended only for people who are at least 18 years old. By accepting these Terms, you confirm that you meet this requirement and have legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

Access is currently limited to invited beta players. An invitation does not create a right to continued or future access.

The beta service

The beta is free and provided for testing and entertainment. Features, game rules, saved results, infrastructure, and availability may change or be removed as the product develops.

Rooms run on a single in-memory game server. Maintenance, deployments, network failures, or provider incidents may interrupt an active match or make saved information temporarily unavailable.

Accounts and security

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your password and session secure. Contact us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

• Use only an account you are authorized to control.
• Do not impersonate another person or create misleading player identities.
• Do not share access in a way that compromises other players or the service.

Fair play and conduct

Use Potrero lawfully and in a way that lets other players enjoy the game.

• Do not cheat, automate inputs, exploit bugs, manipulate matches, or interfere with authoritative game state.
• Do not probe, bypass, or attack authentication, networking, rate limits, access controls, or infrastructure.
• Do not use abusive, discriminatory, threatening, deceptive, or otherwise inappropriate names or behavior.
• Do not scrape, reverse engineer, reproduce, resell, or operate unauthorized copies of the service except where applicable law expressly permits it.

Suspension and termination

Ceibo may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, beta capacity, prohibited conduct, or a breach of these Terms.

You may stop using Potrero at any time. To request account deletion, email hello@ceibo.me from the address associated with your account.

Intellectual property

Potrero software, game design, visual identity, text, graphics, audio, and other original materials belong to Ceibo or its licensors. These Terms grant only a personal, revocable, non-transferable right to use the beta.

Availability and responsibility

Potrero is provided on an as-available beta basis. To the extent permitted by law, Ceibo does not promise uninterrupted operation, permanent storage, error-free gameplay, compatibility with every device, or any particular competitive outcome.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Ceibo is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of, or inability to use, the free beta. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Changes

We may update these Terms as the service changes. Material updates will be shown in the product and will require renewed acceptance before online play. The version date identifies the text you accepted.

Law, jurisdiction, and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic. Subject to any mandatory consumer jurisdiction, disputes will be submitted to the competent ordinary courts of the City of Buenos Aires.
